Funding

Services to the Districted are provided by the City of Gonzales Fire Department. These services are funded by tax revenue assessments the District collects and forwards to the City. Compensation of Elected Officials, Officers, & Employees

Board of Directors compensation can be found on the California State Controller's website for Government Compensation in California (as required by Assembly Bill 2040 - Chapter 894, 2014).

Enterprise System Catalog

The California Public Records Act (Senate Bill 272 - Chapter 795, 2015) requires a catalog listing the District's non-exempt enterprise systems. An “enterprise system” means a software application or computer system that collects, stores, exchanges, and analyzes information that the District uses, which contains information collected about the public and a system record (Calif. Govt. Code §6270.5). Since the Gonzalez Rural Fire Protection District contracts with the City of Gonzales for fire protection and emergency medical services, the District maintains no such records.
